This fluency class is for students with strong Italian skills who want to maintain and improve their fluency while tackling advanced grammar points. Each week we explore a different theme:

• Current affairs — Discussing news and topical issues in Italian
• Italian cinema and music — Watching clips, listening to songs, analysing lyrics
• Regional Italy — Exploring dialects, traditions, and cultural differences across regions
• Idiomatic Italian — The expressions, slang, and colloquialisms that textbooks don't teach
• Grammar highlights — Advanced grammar points revisited and practised in context
• Debate and opinion — Practising complex arguments and expressing nuanced views

What to Expect

This is a relaxed, sociable group where the emphasis is on speaking. We use articles, videos, podcasts, and other authentic Italian materials as conversation starters. Grammar corrections and highlights are woven into the conversation naturally.

At the end of each class, you'll receive an email with notes and references to the grammar points covered.
