Intermediate I Italian Class

What You'll Learn

This class is for students who have a solid foundation and want to deepen their Italian. Over twelve weeks, we'll cover:

• Conversation skills — Expressing opinions, talking about past events, making plans
• Past tenses — Passato prossimo and imperfetto — when to use which
• Expanded vocabulary — Travel, health, work, hobbies, and describing people and places
• Reading and listening — Short Italian texts, songs, and video clips
• Cultural context — Understanding the Italian way of life through language

What to Expect

This class has a stronger emphasis on conversation and fluency. You'll work in pairs and small groups, practise real dialogue, and gain confidence in expressing yourself naturally in Italian.

At the end of each class, you'll receive an email with notes from that day's lesson, materials used, PDF pages and optional homework.

Who Is This For?

• Students who've completed Continuation level (or equivalent)
• People who can handle basic conversations and want to go deeper
• Anyone who can use the present tense and wants to master past tenses
